Core technology

Vapor cell

The vapor cell is the core technology underneath our sensors. What it enables — clocks, magnetometers, gyroscopes — follows from how precisely it can be made and characterized. Underneath every area on this page are the same two problems we had to solve for ourselves: the manufacturing and characterization of quantum sensor components, and the volume qualification of quantum sensor components at production quantities.

VCSEL

Vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers, characterized and qualified in-house. This is the one area where we publish performance results and where product is available today.
